- Soya tea light candles (burning of soya candles does not increase the CO2 level in the atmosphere and helps to maintain air quality in the restaurant).

- Felt lamps chosen in some areas for their biodegradable qualities.
- Energy efficient light bulbs used throughout.
- Organic muslin hand towels in toilets.
- Handpicked and handmade toiletries from Cowshed in Somerset.
- Essential oils as natural air fresheners also having disinfectant and antibacterial qualities for the toilets.
- Washing and ironing all done on-site using eco friendly cleaning products.
- Cleaning of restaurant uses all eco friendly products.
- A combination of low energy equipment and recycled to reuse appliances.
- To utilize produce that is organic and/or locally produced.
- To support and promote local business and community initiatives.
- Standard operating procedures in kitchen minimize use of water and energy.
- Kitchen caddies and biodegradeable sacks are used for composting that is used for our kitchen garden.
- Recycle all packaging and bottles.
The building is a three story Georgian Town house which has been sensitively refurbished employing local craftsmen.
