Tim Bouget has worked alongside several of the world’s finest chefs. After training in the UK with
3 Michelin-starred Michel Roux, Louis Outier and Gaulteiro Marchesi, Tim accepted executive positions with luxury hotels around the world. Now he and his wife Clare, inspired by their travels, are bringing their unique blend of innovative food and thoughtful hospitality to Devon.
Shaldon is a charming village on the banks of the River Teign Estuary in South Devon, conveniently situated near Torbay, Exeter and Dartmoor. It has a wealth of Georgian houses and thatched cottages many of which are listed and date back to the 17th century.
The village boasts many interests including two beaches, a passenger ferry dating back to the 10th century, the botanical gardens, wildlife zoo, golf course and numerous coastal paths to explore. Renowned for its sailing Shaldon is home to the country's oldest water Regatta held annually in August as well as hosting various events throughout the year.

Tim has undertaken extensive work to foster the development of culinary arts worldwide, serving as an adjudicator in culinary competitions, a teacher and mentor for various training institutes.
At ODE our commitment to training and developing our small team continues including regular visits to Brixham fish market, fruit and vegetable growers, cheese makers and livestock farms. This promotes our suppliers and producers to our customers through our menus via our team.
Regular wine tastings are held with our wine suppliers which ensures the team have a varied knowledge of our wines and the benefits of organic and bio dynamic wines.
